The Biscup Spine Institute is top notch and second to none. Their professionalism, kindness and caring has raised the bar in the spine orthopedic arena.

I am eternally grateful to the Biscup Spine Institute, they will forever live in my heart. Dr. Biscup's knowledge, abilities, skills and experience supersedes all other surgeons. These qualities were so important to me while searching for the most qualified doctor, however, I learned, he gave so much more. Not only does he posses all the previous attributes, his genuine compassion and concern overwhelms me. I had visited Dr. Biscup after having a prior back surgery from another spine specialist 3 years ago. I was not confident enough in this other surgeon any longer. In the past, after trying almost everything and anything to rid this awful pain, nothing worked, I entered into despair. I began to give up. I knew soon I needed to make one of the most important and potential life altering decisions. At 44 years old, having a lifetime in front of me, I needed to make the right choice. Not only did I absolutely make the right decision, Dr. Biscup exceeded my expectations. There simply is no one else like him, I am so thrilled because he truly saved my life. He really took care of me.

In Dec 2008 Dr. Biscup and his terrific P.A. Jon Booher performed my surgery at Holy Cross Hospital. I had a Transforaminal Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion L5/S1 on the right and Microdecompression on the left. I entered into this surgery knowing I had the world's greatest doctor. My confidence level was right at the top, where it should be. I knew I was in the best hands. Once I awoke after the surgery, the tremendous pain that had radiated in my low back and down my left leg was gone. I was so happy, so, so happy... finally after years of continual debilitating, heart stopping pain, it was gone. I feel like I hit the lotto! 10 days post surgery I found myself once again engaged in one of my life's passions, snorkeling, very cautiously and carefully, but yes viewing the under world sea that I so love, even recently, catching a lobster or two. I am amazed. It has been two months since my surgery, and still no pain! I have not felt this good in 15 years, recognizing my much improved posture, with my spine aligned properly, I am in awe of Dr. Biscup. He has positively changed my life and I couldn't be happier. He has made a major impression on my husband, my family and friends, for these are the ones who so desperately wanted to help me but didn't know what to do for me anymore. So the million thanks is not only from me, it extends to the doctor from my loved ones.

My life is exciting and new again. Although the recovery for the fusion and bone to heal may take a little more time, it is all worth waiting for. I know before too long my wonderful husband will have his deep sea fishing buddy back and I'll be ready to "dive" into action. In some ways, this experience has been a thrill of a lifetime, because there was a time I was doubting that I would be able to live my life as I dreamed, without severe and excruciating pain. Tears of joy roll down my face when someone asks "how are you doing?" It's all joy.... There just aren't enough heartfelt words to say how truly grateful I am.

Thank you Dr. Biscup, my dreams have come true.
